Mauritius media world is developing quite quickly with new newspapers, magazines, new websites and radio stations popping up frequently.

The main issue while referring to the local media is that many of these newspapers, due to bad organization and low demand from readers, barely get to complete one year of operations.

The majority of the newspapers in Mauritius are in French and few big French language newspapers are quite dominating the local markets. With that; it is also possible to find some newspapers in English.
